Planning & Reporting Engineer - Paris/Oman

On behalf of a major Oil & Gas operator, WRS are seeking an experienced Planning & Reporting Engineer to join a major international energy project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale industrial development, working in a dynamic, multicultural environment. The position will be offered on a 12-month renewable contract. It will be residentially based in Paris, France for the first 12 months, followed by a residential assignment in Sohar, Oman. During both phases, the role will be compensated on a day-rate basis in Euros.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead scheduling, planning, and progress measurement activities across all project phases.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, identify critical paths and potential conflicts, and propose remedial actions.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting documentation is available at all times.
• Produce and support the issuance of weekly and monthly project reports, and prepare content for internal and stakeholder review meetings.
• Coordinate planning input across multiple work packages and contractors.

Profile:

• Engineering degree or Master’s (as required for Omani immigration purposes).
• 10–15 years of total professional experience, with 5–10 years in a similar role.
• Experience on large scale LNG projects
• Expertise in using Primavera P6 for scheduling and planning (mandatory).
• Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrates a commitment to HSSE standards and a proactive safety mindset.
