Context and missions :

  • Rotation Status.
  • Work in remote site
  • He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.
  • He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment on production SITE.
  • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training and development by mentoring on SITE.


Main activities:
Respect and apply QHSSE rules and procedures
In his discipline, he/she is in charge to :

  • Organize and perform on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility.
  • Assist the Preparation / planning team by giving any
  • technical support for preparation of the jobs in his
  • discipline.
  • Manage interventions and prepare the technical reports related to the field.
  • Is responsible of the specific tools of his team. (quantity and availability)
  • Take in charge the systems / equipment under his/her responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation status.
  • Identify recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyze them and suggest improvements.


Specific activities

  • Ensure that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs
  • properly within his teams, and actively participates in the OJT /
  • assessment program.
  • Identify any recurring problems related to the availability or
  • quality of spare parts.
  • Keep a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs
  • and, if need be, suggest improvements.
  • Can be part of Emergency Response Team.
  • Organize the site rotational assignment.

Profile:
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • Higher National Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering,
  • 6 to 8 years' experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations,
  • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
  • Working knowledge of general instrumentation, field devices (sensors and final elements), instrument loops, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Instrument Testing and Calibration Tools
  • Working knowledge of Flowmeters Configuration (electromagnetic, orifice plate, ultrasonic, turbine, variable area )
  • Previous SPIE experience (a plus)
