- Develops, implements, and manages engineering projects to improve the manufacturing operations and processes.
- Prepares cost estimates for new items needed for production and new or modified tooling.
- Selects manufacturing equipment and tooling, prepares specifications, confers with vendors and procurement services, then prepares capital appropriations and/or procurement.
- Advises Manager, Engineering of plant equipment needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering
- Must be capable and have drawing experience with AutoCad and 3D Modeling software such as Solid Works
- CNC or 3D printing experience is a plus
