Senior Mechanical Engineer
ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Lead and execute asset integrity assessments and life extension studies for mechanical discipline.
* Ensure compliance with NOC and international standards (IEC, IEEE, API, ISO 55000).
* Define and implement proactive/reactive maintenance strategies.
* Support the development of integrity management systems and digital databases.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Provide technical input to key stakeholders
* Act as Technical Authority / Technical Administrator (TADM) on behalf of M&I ensuring that all mechanical studies and projects are carried out in accordance with NOC requirements
* Ensure NOC rules, specifications and procedures are followed, maintaining closed communication with all relevant departments
* Ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of Structural assets
ACTIVITIES
* Contributing and assist the team lead to develop and maintain an incident free environment through maintaining a strong safety culture.
* Ensuring compliance with HSE (occupational) legislation, Company standards and procedures for continuous process, operational Safety & Plant Integrity.
* Conduct and define the most effective asset selection and strategy
* Identify critical mechanical assets for assessment
* Assess mechanical equipment integrity and life extension.
* Define maintenance strategies (proactive/reactive) and support execution.
* Gather design, operational, and maintenance data
* Determine Designed End of Service Life (DEOSL) and verify actual End of Service Life (VEOSL)
* Review rotating/static equipment condition.
* Support FMEA, RCA, and reliability studies.
* Perform the Asset Integrity Assessment
* Conduct data gap analysis and integrity risk reviews
* Set up integrity databases and digital dashboards
* Define execution timelines and contracting strategies
* Coordinate with 3rd-party engineering firms for detailed studies
* Execute and report on the Asset Integrity Assessment as well as the Life Extension studies
* Perform condition assessments, failure mode analysis, and life prediction modeling
* Review and validate 3rd-party reports and recommendations
* Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management
* Support CAPEX/OPEX planning based on findings
* Visit offshore sites on task or project basis to enhance collaboration and supervision to sites to ensure successful delivery of job scopes
* Any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by line manager
* Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
* 10-15 years of experience working in an oil & gas operator, with at least 5 years in mechanical integrity
* Skilled and experienced in working in a multi-cultural and highly technical specialized environment
* Experience with CMMS (SAP PM), PowerBI dashboards, and integrity management tools
API 610/617, ASME, ISO 14224.
You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in industry electrical software and systems and advance skills in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English.
