The Manufacturing Engineer has a key role within the Operations organization with accountability toward production support. The engineer is part of a multi-discipline team of Roxar operations team where teamwork and the ability to understand the view and needs of the different functions are crucial. The role is central for operations in supporting day to day production activities in the electronics lab.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Implement processes and procedures to ensure the safe operation of the company's manufacturing assembly lines and align with 1Factory concepts.
  • Be part of and drive the implementation of new Manufacturing processes including test setups.
  • Support manufacturing to ensure planned progress and quality. This includes troubleshooting and testing as is deemed needed.
  • Drive root cause analysis based on manufacturing findings and initiation of NCR's when required to improve product quality.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within production in relation to manufacturing processes.
  • Actively contribute to the success of New Product Development Projects.
  • Participate in design reviews and qualification of new features/solutions/products.
  • Improvement and standardization of processes, work methodologies and tools within the department, in conjunction with line manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's/College degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or technical degree with any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Proven track records in project execution, manufacturing, industrial or design engineering
  • Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, cost, and other techniques for improving the effective manufacture of high-end technology products.


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with subsea or downhole electronics
  • Lean/Six Sigma training, certification or experience
