NES Fircroft is actively seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator for a full-time contract opportunity in Underwood, North Dakota.  This site is about 50mi north of Bismark, and will be focused on Construction Planning and Management activities associated with a greenfield Fly Ash Processing Plant build. 

This position will be a year-long assignment which will likely extend well into 2026, per diem could be on the table for non-local candidates who are interested in relocating for this position.  Day shift expectation with weekly OT opportunities as construction activities scale.

Position Summary:
Our client, a leader in Fly Ash processing and sustainable construction materials, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator for a critical infrastructure job based in Bismarck, ND. This role will support field construction activities by coordinating site operations, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day site construction management and logistics.
  
  
• Coordinate delivery and scheduling of materials, heavy equipment, and subcontractor activity.
  
  
• Maintain and update construction schedules and tracking logs.
  
  
• Assist in monitoring site safety, compliance, and project progress.
  
  
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to resolve issues in real time.
  
  
• Conduct site walks and generate daily field reports and progress updates.
  
  
• Maintain construction documentation, RFIs, change orders, and permits.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in construction project coordination or construction management.
  
  
• Hands-on field construction experience—industrial, heavy civil, or infrastructure experience preferred.
  
  
• Strong background in job site logistics and scheduling of materials and equipment.
  
  
• Proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work full time on site in Bismarck, ND.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting projects involving Fly Ash, cement, or heavy industrial materials.
  
  
• OSHA 10/30 certification or other relevant safety training.
  
  
• Familiarity with lean construction principles or construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
