Job Summary:

Emerson Automation Solutions 'Marine Solutions' includes Rosemount Radar Tank Gauging System, Damcoss Valve Remote Control System, Micromotion Coriolis Flow, Pressure and Temperature measurements for safe ship operation. Our portfolio enables our customers to take action before changes affect equipment performance and cause downtime. As a Service and Logistics coordinator you will be the face of Emerson in front of our key customers within the Marine and Offshore industry.

Based in our Jebel Ali Free zone campus, but responsible for the Middle East & Africa and India region, we have a new vacancy in our highly successful Marine Solutions LCS team part of the wider Measurement Solutions business.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate service engineer mobilization for customer service call outs.
  • Track service job progress and update relevant customers.
  • Perform Level1 support to the customer on the technical issues with the Emerson marine systems.
  • Preparation of the quotation, order booking and invoicing activities .
  • Communicate with clients regarding job scheduling, engineer arrival, and documentation requirements.
  • Assist in handling customer complaints related to service delivery or logistics issues.
  • Arrange transportation, shipment, and delivery of shipment to the customers.
  • Manage import/export documentation and customs clearance when necessary.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, factory and procurement teams for timely dispatch of materials.
  • Handle the inventory of tools and spare parts.
  • Ensure all service and logistics operations align with company safety and quality standards.
  • Perform onboard service and onsite commissioning within the region and worldwide, whenever required.
  • Participate in the testing, calibration and verification of system setup of Emerson products and supplies of Marine systems.
  • Understanding the customer requirement fully in order to provide an efficient and optimum solution
  • Provide comprehensive remote support to customers to ensure their continuing loyalty
  • Setting up, installing, configuring and maintaining simulation/demo tools or systems in the workshop/office as required
  • Carrying out "On the Job Training" when possible, for the rest of the team to share knowledge and experience
  • Maintaining the condition and certification of tools
  • Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson's Company Policy and Procedures
  • Be prepared to travel up to 30% of your time across the Middle East & Africa and India region.

For this role, you will need
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Marine or Instrumentation or related field.


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • 2-4 years' experience in service coordination, field operations, or logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Oracle and ERP experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and incoterms
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive tasks
  • UAE driving license is an added advantage.
