This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design and develop standarized automation systems for electrification projects, using ABB AC500, GE PACs, Proficy Machine Edition, Proficy Cimplicity Plant Edition or ABB Zenon.
• Creates of Class I, II , III drawings and creates of Bills of Materials.
• Selects of adequate Electrical Equipment.
• Assists customer on questions/comments regarding his product.
• Support local manufacturing team with design questions.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering, Electro-mechanical engineering, Control and automation engineering.
• 5 yrs experience in electrical design and develop automation systems integrating switchgear, PLCs, and other control elements.
• Develop system architectures, control panels, and network layouts.
• Electrical Design software as E-Plan or similar
• Advanced English | PLC/HMI/SCADA/Communication Networking exposure (preferred)
• Knowledge of UL, ANSI, IEEE, NEC standards preferred
