Generator Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our growing team. If you have a passion for power systems, electrical diagnostics, and customer service, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure generators are operating properly

• Perform oil and filter changes, replace belts and hoses, and clean internal components

• Diagnose mechanical or electrical malfunctions using testing tools and schematics

• Repair or replace damaged parts with precision and attention to detail

• Maintain clear and accurate service records and documentation

• Provide operational support and maintenance education to clients

• Keep work area organized and ensure all tools and equipment are functional

• Stay current with generator technology and attend manufacturer training sessions

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Generac and Kohler certification strongly preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience in generator or small engine repair

• Strong mechanical aptitude with keen attention to detail

• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic tools, and technical schematics

• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members

• Ability to work independently and handle on-call and flexible schedules

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs on a consistent basis
