Cost Engineer - Boden

We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Cost Engineer to join our team in Boden. This is a site-based position on a 4/1 rotation, offering a 12-month renewable contract with a competitive day rate paid in euros. You’ll be working directly with EPCM contractors and key stakeholders to ensure rigorous cost management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cost management and control activities in alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate monthly cost meetings with EPCM contractors to track reports, forecasts, and change management.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and area managers to deliver accurate cost analysis and internal reporting.
• Identify trends, risk areas, and opportunities for cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the Head of Project Services in delivering reports and presentations to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• ~10 years’ experience in cost control for large-scale industrial projects, ideally under an EPCM framework.
• Right to work in Sweden
• Strong understanding of project delivery phases and cost management procedures.
• Proficiency with AACE/PMI standards and cost control tools.
• Skilled in Excel and cost estimation methodologies.
• Effective communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach.
