Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- The Lead Quality Specialist -CMM Programmer will:
- Inspect prototype and low - rate production hardware
- Work from complex product drawings, manuals, specifications, and other customer / company requirements
- Gather, record, compile, and interpret quality control data and manage non-conformances
- Document non-conformities, process issues and disposition
- Perform first article, in-process and final part inspection.
- Program and operate full scale equipment such as: CMMs, White Light scanner, Optical CMM
- Utilize advanced inspection techniques (White Light scanner, tensile testing, farro arm, etc.)
- Effectively use metrology tools such as micrometers, calipers, and profilometers
- Maintain calibration of gauges
- Take ownership for assigned lab areas including maintaining equipment, ordering supplies, environmental health and safety, and shop cleanliness
- Support Continuous Improvement activities and methods. (ie. RCCA, supplier quality control)
- Support manufacturing engineering and quality systems during quality control activities. (at final inspection)
- Collect and input process capability data and support QC process control such as Gage R&R etc.
- Conduct experiments and inspections on assignment processes, working with engineers and leadership to develop and document process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
Eligibility Requirement:

- Proficient in GD&T (Blueprint /Spec Interpretation)
- CMM Program experience
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing & Quality Operations
- Highly self-motivated.
- Detailed oriented mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Advance knowledge with Inspection process and Additive Machines desirable
