AgReserves, Inc is seeking a Renewable Energy Projects Manager to help advance renewable and other energy projects across the company. The Manager assists in contract review and negotiations, due diligence on solar sites, land use permit acquisitions and compliance, and monitoring facility construction.
Responsibilities:
- Advance development of utility-scale and distributed generation (company owned) renewable projects.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with renewable companies.
- Effectively advance the company's interests in renewable projects based on approved Company strategy.
- Take a leadership role with assigned project transaction teams and outside parties to achieve corporate initiatives.
- Evaluate opportunities and assess potential developers and project sites.
- Determine and help manage project risks.
- Monitor and report on project development and progress.
- Create Executive Investment Team presentations of renewable projects.
- Inspect and oversee renewable-related activities on FRI properties.
- Maintain databases, records, and reports to track projects.
- Coordinate closely with the Executive, finance, and agricultural production teams.
- Develop, implement, train and instruct on project management systems.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage other energy and natural resource related projects, as well as other additional revenue generating opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law, engineering, communications, energy, government administration, or relevant field. Advanced degree desired.
- 3+ years in utility, commercial, industrial, or distributed generation solar panel electrical power generation, or other relevant renewable or energy industry experience.
- Agricultural industry experience or training preferred but not required.
- Strong demonstrated leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent business reputation established by reputable industry sources and references.
- Competent computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft tools.
- Valid Driver's license with ability to acquire and maintain any applicable certifications of the job.
- Meet the physical requirements of the job which includes ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to various farm and rural locations.
- This is an in-office position - eligible candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at the SLC Corporate office daily.
