Job Title: Rotating Equipment Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Supervisor to join a high-performing maintenance team within a major refinery or petrochemical facility. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on expertise in the supervision, inspection, and maintenance of rotary equipment and demonstrate a solid understanding of international standards, reliability systems, and plant operations.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead teams on complex machinery, collaborate with OEM specialists, and support safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance delivery across critical plant assets.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise maintenance teams performing work on rotary equipment

Allocate tasks and ensure timely, high-quality job execution with full compliance to safety standards

Liaise with operations, planning, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities

Provide technical input, analysis, and solutions to maintenance challenges

Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports on activities and performance

Review and write maintenance procedures and ensure alignment with best practices

Collaborate with OEM experts and support knowledge transfer to internal team

Train, mentor, and motivate maintenance staff while ensuring discipline and performance standards
Requirements:

High school diploma plus a 3-year Mechanical Engineering Diploma (BSc / BE preferred)

Minimum 12 years of experience in rotary equipment maintenance within a refinery or petrochemical oil & gas environment, including supervisory experience

Strong technical knowledge of rotating machinery, standards, and best maintenance practices

Proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading)

Familiar with CMMS, maintenance planning, and reporting tools

Competent in report writing and computer-based record keeping

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams under pressure
