Role Overview
Plan and manage all tools and equipment required for production in accordance with the requirements of aviation regulatory authorities, relevant management agencies, and the company. Ensure proper maintenance and management of special tools and equipment to guarantee the normal operation of workshop production tools and equipment.
The Ideal Candidate
Plan and manage all tools and equipment required for production in accordance with the requirements of aviation regulatory authorities, relevant management agencies, and the company. Ensure proper maintenance and management of special tools and equipment to guarantee the normal operation of workshop production tools and equipment. Implement and track the repair, inspection, and claims processes for tools. Manage tool suppliers, liaise with OEM manufacturers or other repair service providers for external repairs of tooling equipment, negotiate outsourcing repair matters, and follow up on implementation. Develop inspection plans for measurement tools and maintenance plans for tools and equipment. Define part numbers for tools (including providing storage requirements, etc.). Perform statistical analysis of tool-related business activities, prepare accounting and financial reports, and other related tasks. Handle the procurement of tools and equipment, provide technical advice, and organize relevant departments to complete tool and equipment acceptance and maintenance training. Manage spare parts for tools and equipment. Submit procurement requests based on the consumption of inventory spare parts and organize the acceptance and storage of spare parts. Provide skills training for tool and equipment maintenance personnel. Organize and coordinate maintenance personnel to complete regular maintenance of tools and equipment. Improve on-site tool storage solutions, design custom tools based on the actual needs of the production workshop, and promptly complete technical evaluation documents for custom tools.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical manufacturing, aviation maintenance, civil aviation engines, special processes, or related fields. At least 3 years of experience in tool and equipment management in the aviation industry. Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and the capability to resolve and improve equipment issues. Proficient in using various equipment tools, instruments, and meters; familiar with regulations related to special equipment and safety production. Skilled in using mechanical drawing software with good mechanical drawing capabilities. Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills; able to independently consult English maintenance manuals. Passionate about engine maintenance work; good team collaboration skills; proactive work attitude; integrity and honesty.

- Work as part of a team.
- Develop an efficient working relationship with airframer personnel and respond quickly and accurately to their questions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin
- Good Verbal and written English
- Work to procedures -FTSIs, the M&I plan, the aircraft manuals etc. compliantly.
- Produce reports (maintenance completion, flight/ground test, and issue findings) accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Attend meetings punctually and pay attention.
- Arrange to share work with other team members to ensure minimal rest infractions.
- The work involves supervising mechanics performing work on the engines. Physical hands-on ability is sometimes required.
