Establishing standards and implementation plans, including training for shop floor personnel and production metrics. Ownership of manufacturing processes and standards. Training shop floor personnel and monitoring performance metrics. Troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues related to quality and production yield. Creating a technological roadmap for new and existing products. Leading process development from concept through successful implementation. Implement key Lean elements: standardized work instructions, line balancing, layout and routing optimization, training matrices, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen/5S, pull systems, TPM, cell design, and quick changeover/batch-size optimization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes. Improve process yield, reduce cycle time, and enhance productivity. Provide feedback on product design and manufacturability to Engineering and DFMs via Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). Review and approve Engineering Change Orders affecting inventory and product lifecycle. Develop and monitor KPIs for process capability and product quality. Reduce process costs and benchmark best-in-class techniques. Plan and execute pilot testing and scale-up for new technologies. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing Métiers during process prove-out. Support DFM engineers on technology constraints for NPD and RR projects. Share and leverage best practices across the organization. Investigate and resolve manufacturing quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure manufacturing technologies meet required quality, reliability, and consistency standards. Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in a technical manufacturing role. Strong understanding of mechanical systems for interpreting schematics, troubleshooting, and standardizing processes. Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective communicator across all levels-from technicians to executives. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
