Project Assurance Auditor - Sweden

A high-profile industrial infrastructure project is seeking an experienced Project Assurance Auditor to lead and execute assurance activities across engineering, construction, and OEM scopes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This is a key site-based rotational role within the Quality team, offering exposure to multi-discipline execution across multiple EPCM packages.

This role will be offered on a 12 month renewable contract, rotating 6 weeks/1 week at site in Boden, paying a day rate in Euros.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project assurance plan, in collaboration with department leads and quality leadership.
• Define and lead assurance events including scope, objectives, review teams, and schedules.
• Conduct field activities and documentation reviews to assess alignment with defined quality and execution standards.
• Participate in contractor and OEM assurance events as an active observer, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Lead the reporting and follow-up process post-assurance, including action tracking and verification.
• Interface across disciplines—Engineering, HSE, Procurement, Project Controls, Commissioning—to ensure full lifecycle coverage of assurance activities.

Candidate Profile:

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
• 10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years focused on assurance roles for an owner or EPCM.
• Right to work in Sweden
• In-depth knowledge of multi-discipline project execution phases, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical, reporting, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to communicate and influence across teams and levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with MS Office and digital tools used in large project environments.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving project demands.
