The Field Service Engineer will perform activities required for the installation, commissioning, start-up and technical support of Emerson systems at customer sites. Also responsible for completing work according to the Emerson standards of safety and quality.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform tasks for system maintenance and performance evaluations.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Be able to troubleshoot customers problems related to the process system.
- Complete maintenance tasks for the control system.
- Perform system acceptance tests, installation, commissioning, training, fault analysis and rectification work at customer sites and installations.
- Assist in design studies, H/W & S/W upgrades & modifications.
- Configuring/application management and support.
- Finish the work (repairs, installations, training etc.) in accordance with guidelines and certifications.
- Be able and willing to perform emergency call-out services to provide customers with fast and efficient services.
- Implement the requested job in the best way to meet customer's deadlines and expectations.
- Keep workshop/workplace(s) tidy, in order and representative.
- Communicate issues concerning customer satisfaction or customer requests for Emerson support to the responsible person in Service Management or Sales Management.
- Tutoring customer training.
- Enforce to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.
- Enforce to the company's and customer HSEQ standards at all times.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Degree in an engineering field, such as mechanical / electrical, computer science, or control systems.(Minimum technical College level).
- Proven experience a from process industry such as Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Refineries.
- Good communications skills and proficient in English -written and spoken.
- Technical proficiencies.
- Product Knowledge.
- Availability to work non-office hours and perform call-out services, if applicable.
- Availability work offshore, if applicable.
- Driving license for car.
