As Health & Safety Engineer, you will
- Analyze existing HSSE indicators, suggest areas for improvement, and actively participate in the implementation of corrective or preventive action plans.
- Support the H&S Opérations Manager in the development, dissemination, and monitoring of HSSE policies, procedures, and standards across all sites.
- Conduct internal audits and carry out regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards and to identify potential deviations.
- Organize and lead training sessions as well as awareness campaigns for staff and subcontractors to promote HSSE culture.
- Participate in the analysis of incidents, accidents, or hazardous situations, draft the corresponding reports, and ensure follow-up on corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory compliance of activities and maintain a continuous watch on the evolution of legal and normative requirements related to HSSE.
- Work closely with operational teams to integrate HSSE requirements into daily processes and new projects.
- Prepare regular HSSE performance reports for management and contribute to the continuous improvement of the HSSE
Candidate Profile
Expected qualific ations:
- Master degree HSSE or Engineering School with a specialization in HSSE

Technical skills :
- General knowledge of HSE Processes and exploration and production activities,
Computing skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Languages:
- English: level C1/C2 (Working language in PNG)
- French: level B2
