EngineeringAs a Fire Protection Service Associate you will play a vital role in protecting our clients from the devastating effects of fire. You will be responsible for assisting in the inspecting and testing fire protection systems, as well as providing training and education on fire safety. You will also have the opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects, and to travel to different parts of the country and the world.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00
Schedule: 8 hour shift (overtime as needed) - Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)

Work Location: Multiple locations
Responsibilities:
- Assist with inspecting and testing fire protection systems, including fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and fire extinguishers.
- Assist with Identifying and assessing fire hazards.
- Assist with Developing and implementing fire safety plans.
- Assist with Training and educating employees on fire safety procedures.
- Work on challenging and innovative fire protection projects.
- Travel to different parts of the country and the world for work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- Willingness to travel for projects - trips may last 2-3 weeks at a time
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor/industrial environments
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Mechanical aptitude and experience reading blueprints
- NICET, OSHA 10/30, or other fire protection certifications a plus
- Experience with AR-AFFF, deluge systems, or industrial fire protection a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on a ladder.
