Voor een veelzijdig (Water Injectie Dredger) zoeken we een ervaren Chief Engineer met sterke technische kennis én een (pré) beheersing van de Franse taal, s'il vous plaît.

Functie omschrijving

Ben jij een doorgewinterde Chief Engineer met ervaring in de maritieme sector en affiniteit met baggerprojecten?

Wij zoeken een professional die het technische hart vormt van een multifunctionele WID en daarnaast ondersteuning biedt aan twee andere schepen binnen hetzelfde project.

Je werkt aan boord van een wate en luchtinjectie WID en bent verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud en de werking van de machinekamer.

Daarnaast ondersteun je bij het onderhoud van een surveyboot en een bevoorradingsschip dat wekelijks vaart om drinkwater en voedsel te leveren aan een eiland.

Deze rol vraagt om zelfstandigheid, samenwerking en flexibiliteit. Je werkt in een vaste rotatie en hebt uitzicht op een langdurige aanstelling.

Kandidaten die nog in opleiding zijn maar al ruime ervaring hebben in de machinekamer worden ook uitgenodigd om te reageren.

Beheersing van zowel Nederlands als Frans is een pré gezien de locatie en samenwerking met lokale partijen.

Functie vereisten

Om in aanmerking te komen, moet je weten dat "bâbord" links is, "tribord" rechts, en:

• Geldige vaarbevoegdheid als Chief Engineer, 2nd Engineer of Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch (STCW III/1 >750kW)
• Ervaring in de machinekamer, bij voorkeur op WID's of vergelijkbare vaartuigen
• Bereidheid om samen te werken met andere engineers binnen het project
• Flexibiliteit en zelfstandigheid
• (Pré) Beheersing van Nederlands én Frans
