We are seeking a professional to join GE Aerospace's Quality Organization to conduct and support audits related to the Quality Management System and International Trade processes, ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit Execution: Plan, execute, and document internal audits of Quality and International Trade processes, following the annual schedule or specific demands.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, including standards, certifications, corporate policies, and aviation authorities. Proactively adapt processes to regulatory changes.
• Corrective Actions: Identify and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans (CAPAs) resulting from audits.
• Understand and operate within airworthiness legislation requirements, customs regulations, RECOF Regime, and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) requirements.
• Process Improvement: Support audited areas in understanding deviations and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Customer & Regulatory Liaison: Act as a key point of contact during audits with customers and regulatory bodies, ensuring alignment of internal processes with applicable requirements.
• Training & Awareness: Develop training and awareness initiatives to strengthen the culture of auditing and compliance within the organization.
• Risk Analysis: Actively participate in risk analyses and process reviews, contributing to the regulatory robustness of the supply chain.
• Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality processes, regulatory approvals, certifications, and compliance records to support traceability and accountability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with different areas of the company to ensure preparation and readiness for external audits; and provide support, metrics, and insights to optimize foreign trade processes and ensure international trade compliance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or relevant diploma in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Trade, or Logistics and Supply Chain.
• Previous experience with internal and/or external audits in regulated environments.
• Ability to critically analyze processes, manage non-conformities, and implement action plans.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with different areas and hierarchical levels.
• Advanced English (preferred for interfacing with customers or international regulations).
• Knowledge of SAP, Thomson Reuters, and the Brazilian Foreign Trade System.
• Familiarity with concepts such as Standard Work, Kaizen, and Gemba.
- Flexible work environment with availability to work remotely up to 2 days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and national and international regulatory standards.
• Certification as an internal auditor in ISO or AS standards.
• Previous experience with regulatory processes applied to the supply chain.
• Experience in regulated industrial environments, especially in the aerospace.
