Senior Project Engineer - Power Production & Distribution

We are looking for a skilled Senior Project Engineer with expertise in power production and distribution to join our Electrical Solutions team. This role will primarily work on projects with AC distribution systems.

Location: Fornebu or Ulsteinvik, Norway

Your Responsibilities

• Dimension and design of AC Swichboards, protection relay logic, generators and AVR.
• Coordinate with shipyards, shipowners, classification societies, ABB factories, and subcontractors
• Ensure technical quality and compliance throughout project deliveries
• Provide technical support during commissioning phases.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites, suppliers, and shipyards

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power system design
• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering-or relevant experience as a ship electrician.
• Strong understanding of power system dynamics, generators, protection relays, and switchboards
• Ability to combine practical skills with theoretical knowledge
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
