Project Controls Professional (Associate – Power BI) - Sweden

We are seeking a motivated Project Controls Professional (Associate – Power BI) to support project planning, reporting, and performance monitoring on a large-scale industrial development in Boden, Sweden. This is a site-based rotational role, ideal for candidates looking to grow their expertise in project controls and data analytics while contributing directly to a major infrastructure program.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and format technical reports, dashboards, and project updates using standardized templates.
• Support planning teams with schedule updates, progress tracking, and project controls reporting.
• Collect and organize site data for performance monitoring, KPIs, and variance analysis.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support real-time project progress and performance reporting.
• Build and optimize data models, queries, and calculated measures (DAX).
• Integrate data from multiple sources (Excel, SharePoint, SQL, P6 exports) into automated Power BI solutions.
• Support the development of standardized reporting packs and templates across the project.
• Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement in reporting efficiency.
• Work with planners, cost engineers, and project managers to provide meaningful data insights.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Data Analytics, or related field; OR a technical diploma in planning/data analytics.
• For degree holders: 0–4 years’ experience in project controls or analytics.
• For diploma holders: 2–6 years’ experience in project controls or analytics.
• Right to work in Sweden
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Practical knowledge of Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, or SharePoint is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present data in a clear, professional format.
• Eagerness to learn and develop both planning & scheduling and Power BI/data analytics skills.
