EngineeringJob Purpose
Supervises project commissioning activities and Project Support Services on site, including Engineering Services. Ensure that activities are conducted to Company regulations and best industry practices.
Job Specific Accountabilities
• Plans, coordinates with the commissioning team and Contractor/Vendor of all commissioning activities to ensure safe commissioning of the new projects and modifications.
• Co-ordinates the implementation of Work Permit Procedure and related activities with concerned Teams to ensure consistent application of permit conditions to all work areas, includes preparation of blanking requirements, purging requirements and auditing of work sites prior to carrying out the required commissioning tasks.
• Conducts multi task duties, to support operations activities in relation to the Operations and projects commissioning activities. This includes technical review of plant operating problems during projects commissioning, ordering and follows up of materials requirements.
• Follow up commissioning schedules and activities and align operations requirements.
• Interface with projects, commissioning team and operations team for scheduling and organizing commissioning and start up for faultless take over.
• Co-ordinate/participate with project engineers, inspection team and operation team for successful completion of FAT & SAT.
• Follow up project execution schedules and review its impact on operations.

• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
• Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section's / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management
• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the function in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
• Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering Discipline.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
8 years of experience in Project Engineering/Commissioning
Revenues/ Budget: As per approved financial budget
Direct Reports: As per organization chart
Indirect Reports: As per organization chart
