Quantity Surveyor - France

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major transformation project at a refinery site in France. This role is responsible for cost and quantity management in an EPCm contract environment, ensuring accurate evaluation of contractor submissions, risk management, and commercial control throughout the project execution phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate quantity dossiers submitted by contractors.
• Estimate, verify, and anticipate quantities to ensure cost control and adequate material planning.
• Oversee and value subcontractor work for progress payments.
• Provide commercial support on change requests, remeasurable dossiers, claims, counterclaims, and disputes.
• Support risk management, value engineering, and lessons learned activities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate across stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced EPCm environment.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in oil & gas EPC remeasurable contracts.
• Strong expertise in claim management and change management processes.
• Excellent skills in mathematics, data analysis, and cost control.
• Proficient in surveying software and contract management tools.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; French highly desirable, Italian is a plus.
• Solid understanding of engineering and construction principles.
• Experience as a package contract engineer or similar roles is an advantage.
