Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our Operations team. This is a long-term opportunity reporting to the Delivery Manager, responsible for managing front end projects with a key client. Based in Perth CBD, this is a permanent role and is available as a full-time / part-time (job share) basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be reporting directly to the Delivery Manager and working in an ESC contract, to create delivery excellence across the assigned project portfolio, across some of world's most technically challenging brownfields Oil & Gas projects for the Operations team with a key client.

Expected:
You will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia.
Ideally you will be suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognised institution and have a 5+ years of proven experience in the oil and gas brownfields EPC(M) sector in Australia, including 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar Project Engineer role.
It is advantageous if you are a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or hold an equivalent certification.

- Specifying and coordinating the implementation and completion of moderate sized projects, a portfolio of small projects and / or major components of large projects
- Ensuring safe delivery, quality, schedule and cost targets are met and managing associated risk mitigation
- Delivering project to agreed specifications, managing change and customer relationships and ensuring appropriate reporting and governance is adhered to and controlled
