To deliver Paris Subsea Field Development and early phase projects and support the development of subsea & pipeline capability in Paris.
Expansion is through traditional O&G services, but also transportation of NH3, CO2, H2, biofuels and electrical distribution networks

Reporting lines and interactions:
Reports to:
  • Upstream & Transversal Services Lead
Directly supervises:
  • As Study Manager: Subsea Engineers in other centres, flow assurance & material engineers; all during study execution
  • No direct reports but potential to build Paris subsea & pipeline team
Interactions
  • External interaction with Clients.
  • Internal interaction with Genesis Paris team, Genesis global subsea & pipeline team, Discipline
  • Engineers in delivery of multi-discipline studies; T.EN commercial, tendering and project managers, ET global leads.
Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):
  • Proactively engage with Clients and support Business Development for subsea & pipeline;
  • Take ownership within subsea discipline in the delivery of subsea and pipeline projects for Paris OC;
  • Support the preparation of budgets, resourcing and delivery of bid and tenders: final approval by Genesis management
  • Project management and delivery of multi-discipline subsea & integrity studies;
  • Accountable for producing quality deliverables to the client
  • Undertake & check calculations as needed;
  • Write and check project deliverables, reports and technical notes;
  • Supports relevant activities for diversified services, ET, digital, business consulting
  • Perform all reasonable job tasks required by line manager.
Main Accountabilities:
  • Support the strategic frame work and growth of the subsea and pipeline team in Paris
  • Accountable for study financial performance and execution
  • Identifying key Clients and opportunities for development
  • Be focal point for both external and internal Clients
  • Input to the development of young engineers
Typical background and experience required
Must have
  • Detailed understanding of early phase concept work, field development and subsea design etc;
  • Experienced in managing Early Phase projects
  • Proven strong technical track record in consultancy related early phase/Field Development studies and pragmatic in approach;
  • Good people management skills;
  • Customer focus;
  • Ability to manage change;
  • Excellent technical reporting skills;
  • Commercial awareness for study delivery
  • Understanding of subsea architecture, pipelines, flexibles manifolds etc and design philosophies;
Nice to have:
  • Experienced at business generation and building strong Client relationships.
  • Experience in subsea EPC contractor
  • Onshore pipeline experience
  • Understanding of subsea controls
  • Installation Experience
  • CCUS or H2 experience
  • Long distance subsea or onshore electrical supply
Could be interested in RPO or MSP
