Great opportunity to work as a Senior Subsea Project Engineer in London, for an E&P Company who focus on international offshore assets.
Purpose of the Role:
- The Senior Subsea Project Engineer will be reporting to the Subsea Technical Manager or Subsea Operations Manager and will be responsible to carry-out and coordinate the completion of various Projects, from basic design to final commissioning, they will be involved in all technical and commercial parts of the Project.
- The Senior Subsea Project Engineer is accountable for the delivery of safe, efficient, reliable, and compliant operations for subsea systems installed in one or more of our operating assets and in line with relevant codes and standards.
- The Subsea Senior Project Engineer may manage a team, as applicable, of Subsea Engineers/ Specialists responsible for various functions with-in Subsea team as well as several external vendors/suppliers.
- The position is based in our main office in Central London, United Kingdom.
Essential Skills:
- In depth technical knowledge of Subsea Systems (mainly XTs and SPS systems plus Structures, Controls, Umbilical, Risers and Flowlines) in Deepwater Projects in all project phases (design, tender, construction/testing and installation).
- Good working knowledge on Subsea IRM Activities. Management of budgets, people's management, Interface management and a good team player.
Key Requirements:
- Master of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology
- 10 years relevant experiences in the oil and gas industry. With 7 Years Subsea Operations - including Wells and Production Engineering Experience in Subsea Operations, exposed to subsea intervention work, familiar with work class ROV operations and associated standards ROV tools used.
- Integrity knowledge of Pipelines and Facilities as it relates to Operations and Fit for Service, ideally within a subsea Operations and or Projects Developments environment.
- Competent in relationship management working with a diverse set of stakeholders including contractors and government regulators.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels in the field and in the office as well as outside of the company.
- Fluent English
- Building Teams and Capability within the Functional model.
- Proven track record of strong Continuous Improvement skills.
- Experience in developing and delivering on annual budgets for operations.
This is a permanent staff role based in London with flexibility to work 1 day from home, competetive salary & benefits package available for the right candidate including an annual bonus up to 35% + 15% Pension.
