Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited) to the following: CORE FUNCTION
l Assembling components from detailed general assembly drawings
l Testing of assembled components with hydraulic power units
l Performing maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment
l Reading and comprehending basic hydraulic and electrical schematics
l Reading and comprehending basic drawings, specifications, and procedures
l Operating hydraulic power units
l Operation general hand, hydraulic and air tools
l Diagnosing malfunctions and providing technical feedback to Engineering and/or the next level supervisor
l Maintaining shop cleanliness and enduring work is performed in an expedient and safe manner
l Cleaning, painting, cycling/flushing tooling and related equipment
l Completing quality checks on tools to ensure proper assembly, design and functionality are being maintained
l Occasionally travelling off site for tool testing as requested by customers (NB personnel will not be eligible for offshore deployments for a period of 6 months from their initial date of service)
General
l The list of job duties described above is not exclusive or exhaustive and the employee may be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the job;
l Assist with any other duties as and when required; and
l Undertake specific projects as instructed by Management.

l Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment;
l Promote a strong HSE culture at all times;
l Ensure that personnel identify with and achieve, the necessary Health and Safety performance standards associated with the relative risks to personnel and plant in their environment and daily work;
l Ensure that business and HSE risk implications of integrity issues are clearly identified and assessed for consideration within the Oceaneering Integrity Management Team and communicated to the Client;
l Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems;
l Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems for the Company; and
l Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Qualifications and Training
l Relevant Trade Qualification (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic)
Experience
l Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in related role
Required Skills and Aptitudes
l Proficient computer skills (e.g. Word and Excel)
l Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognising responsibilities and actively participating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals
l Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
l Knowledge of safety standards (e.g. Step Back 5x5, JSEA, HSEQ systems etc.)
