Successful candidate would be offered fixed term employment.

About The Job

• Prepare deliverables as instructed. Ensure good quality design outputs, as per the relevant procedures and perform self-checking to ensure errors and oversight are minimized.

• Produce the agreed deliverables as per the project requirement and schedules in cost effective manner.

• Study and gather information for all the relevant systems defined in the design and ensure adequate information are being incorporated in the design deliverables.

• Perform in-house studies as instructed.

• Monitor and ensure that any drawings designed by designer and generated by the drafters is properly established to reflect all required design details and to good engineering practices.

• Retain all records of design deliverables sketches, drafts, reviews, revisions etc. for audit and traceability purpose.

During contract execution

• Main Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepares, updates and self-checks documents, lists, datasheets and drawings for detailed engineering.

• Perform all assigned works and activities including training under guidance of Lead/Senior Instrument Engineer

• Log and record all works and activities under proper logbook documentation

• Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the Vendors

• Adheres to the committed man/hours and budget.

• Remain accountable and assume responsibility for all works and activities done

• Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering activities and progress to the Lead.

• Meets quality objectives of the project.

• Continuously develop and grow technical knowhow as well as familiarize with Design Codes and Standards

About You

MUST HAVE:

• Possess Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation/Electronic Engineering accredited by Board of Engineer Malaysia or approved equivalent.

• Registered with Board of Engineers (BEM) or equivalent

• Possess less than 2 years within Instrumentation engineering/industry

• Fresh graduates shall possess minimum of 3.5 CGPA / 2nd Class Upper Honors Degree

• Strong inclination towards Instrumentation design and engineering analysis

• Good interpersonal skills, fast learner, good team player and willing to learn and grow with the organization

• Self-motivated with good communication skills in both oral and written

GOOD TO HAVE

• Familiar with Control and Shutdown design, solution and practical implementation

• Knowledge on Oil & Gas industry

• Experience with OEM/Vendors
