Job Title: Despatch Operative
Location: Stonehouse, Gloucester, GL10
Rate/Salary: £13.98 per Hour   33 days holidays (25 8BH)
                     (£150 paid per quarter for full attendance)
Duration:  12 months

Despatch Operative role:
Working as a member of the Despatch Team primarily responsible for Picking & Packing of customer orders and attaching all associated shipping documentation & palletising in ready for carrier collection

• Daily Picking & packing of customer Orders.
• Putting away customer orders in set locations and booking onto system for full traceability
• Checking customer orders, with accuracy and reporting any errors to despatch supervisor.
• Completing all despatch paperwork to correct standards.
• To ensure that all processes are carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrate effective communications to ensure any non-conformities are raised and actioned immediately.
• Any other duties as requested by a member of the management team.

The Despatch Operative will maintain a high standard of Housekeeping inside and outside the despatch department,

Despatch Operative skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive thinker with attention to detail.
• IT literate. SAP knowledge preferred however training will be given.
• Team attitude: eager to cooperate with others.

Desirable but not essential

• FLT licence  - Counterbalance or Bendi Truck or  A5 experience / Licenses
