We are looking for a Civil Engineering Project Buyer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Velizy, France

Start Date: May 2024

Contract Duration: 1 year renewable

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Minimum Bac+5
• At least 5 years of experience as a buyer. Ideally in the construction and civil engineering sector.
• Be used to challenging field operational staff.
• Strong negotiation skills and facilitator temperament.
• Operation in project mode (construction site).
• Comfortable with digital tools.
• Perfect command of Excel.

Missions:

Under the responsibility of the Purchasing Director:

• Manage tenders and negotiations
• Take charge of the purchase of supplies and subcontractors in your perimeter, mainly in project mode
• Participate in project reviews
• Draft project-specific commercial and legal specifications
• Conduct negotiations on the lots you will be in charge of with the objective of achieving the defined budget objectives
• Transcribe project constraints into negotiations and contract them with suppliers and subcontractors to control risks
• Contribute to the proper performance of reporting
• Be a driving force in the development of performance tools for the service (Product Catalogs, E-Proc, Make or buy process)
