Activities

We are recruiting Reservoir Engineers W/M to work on large-scale international projects.

As a Reservoir Engineer at TotalEnergies, you will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition, quality, interpretation, and integration of data in geoscience and reservoir studies conducted within the framework of future development projects, to ensure oil and gas production and develop CO2 storage solutions (CCS) for industrial customers.

Your main missions include :

  • Preparing and supervising reservoir data acquisition operations (dynamic characterization and monitoring of reservoirs).
  • Analyzing and interpreting reservoir data to obtain the best dynamic characterization of reservoirs and/or aquifers.
  • Conducting integrated reservoir studies for field monitoring (oil, gas, CO2 storage) to be developed, in production/injection recovery mechanisms.
  • Building and updating models, simple, complex, or innovative, in collaboration with geologists and geophysicists, to optimize fluid flow modeling, adapted to identified key heterogeneities.
  • Evaluating available hydrocarbon resources and reserves or CO2 storage capacities, studying the production/injection potential of reservoirs, and proposing data acquisitions, allowing their optimization.
  • Drafting reservoir monitoring and management plans (incl. CO2 storage).
  • Adhering to and promoting HSE rules.

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree (5 years' higher education) from a top Engineering School or university, Petroleum Master's, PhD, Reservoir Engineer.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in the development and monitoring of oil, gas fields/CCS in the Reservoir Engineering field in an international context.
  • International mobility including missions and international assignments.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of French is a plus.
