We are looking for candidates that would be suitable for Risk Engineer role in the GCC

Post: Risk Engineer
Location: GCC Countries
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications (Educational Qualifications, Trainings or Certifications) bachelor’s degree in one of the following: - Engineering or relevant discipline and Any related professional certificates, preferred  
Experience:  8-10 years’ experience in technical/production/maintenance/Risk Management Functions in fertilizer/ other petrochemical industry.

Candidate must have experienced in Ammonia / Urea / Utilities & Offsite Plant 

Description
General:
  • Risk Identification: Identify and assess risks across the organization through the use of risk assessments, risk models, and other tools. Work with business unit leaders to develop a comprehensive understanding of their operations and identify potential risks including but not limited to potential threats to asset integrity.
  • Risk Evaluation: Evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks to the organization's strategic and operational objectives. Conduct thorough technical risk assessments across all facets of operations, including manufacturing processes, equipment installations, and facility management.
  • Risk Monitoring: Monitor risks and trends, conduct ongoing risk assessments, and report on risk metrics to senior management
  • Risk Management Framework: Assist in the development and implementation of an ERM framework and related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Risk Mitigation: Work with business units to develop and implement risk mitigation plans including but not limited to mitigation plans to prevent equipment failures and unplanned downtime.
  • Risk Training: Develop and deliver ERM training to business units, senior management, and other stakeholders.
  • Risk Culture: Promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability across the organization.
  • Coordinate all insurance related activities and any other coming under the purview of the department
