- Supports the Senior Inspection Engineer in the management of Woods' workscope as defined in the contract with the client providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management.
- Liaise and interface with the asset planner effectively, to ensure that all Integrity Programme activities meet planning gate criteria and provide input to the asset planning process.
- In association with Corrosion Engineers and the asset Technical Assistant compile workpacks for pressure system equipment in accordance with the Risk Based Assessments and CMMS scheduling.
- In collaboration with asset Corrosion Engineer ensure pressure system workpacks address the credible threats as defined in the Risk Based Assessment and the scope of work is optimized and clearly defined.
- Issue Workpacks to the asset Inspection Engineer for validation, review asset Inspection Engineer comments and revise works packs accordingly, for SIE approval for enactment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain daily interaction and communication with asset Inspection Engineer, to measure work pack progression, proactively address constraints to ensure timely completion in line with plan schedule.
- Ensure all work activities are completed on schedule, to agreed budget and to an acceptable standard. Any variance to be clearly understood and justified.
- Review completed inspection reports from Inspection contract teams, 3rd Party vendors to ensure workscopes have been delivered in accordance with approved workpacks.
- Prepare shutdown workscopes or non-intrusive inspection workscopes in line with asset and business milestones.
- Participate in Risk Based Inspection reviews of facility, pipe work and vessels as the basis of developing detailed and phased work scopes.
- Continually assess and review the effectiveness of designated KPIs to ensure that these are providing improvements in Asset Integrity, proactively act upon KPI findings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications (Essential)
- Minimum HNC or NVQ Level 4 (e.g. City & Guilds) in a suitable engineering subject, Mechanical Engineering.
- Fluent in Azeri and English (written and spoken)
Qualifications (Desired)
- Degree in an Engineering related discipline.
- Working towards Chartered Engineer as defined by the Engineering Council or equivalent.
- Offshore medical, BOSIET and MIST certification.
- NDT certification for core techniques.
- Confined Space Entry training.
- Knowledge of NDT and Visual Inspection Techniques

- Microsoft Office.
- ACET and SAP or equivalent.
- Ability to generate a team approach to workflow execution and problem solving.
- Good communicator both written and verbal to ensure as found condition is adequately communicated to all relevant parties.
