What are you going to do

As a Rotating Equipment Technician (Maintenance), you will be responsible for the maintenance of rotary equipment in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry. You should have knowledge of the safety standards and requirements for performing any maintenance activity in petrochemical industries. You should also have hands-on experience in overhauling, troubleshooting, and maintaining rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and blowers. You should be skilled in using mechanical measuring instruments, coupling types, and alignment of rotating equipment using reverse indicator and laser devices. Additionally, you should be able to read equipment technical drawings and manuals and prepare a list of spare parts, special tools, and consumable materials required for maintenance activities. You should have basic computer skills to prepare reports in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Essential skills and knowledge

• Engineering or Diploma qualification;
• 10 years of experience in maintenance of rotary equipment in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry;
• Knowledge of petrochemical industries safety standards and requirements;
• Hands-on skill of overhauling, troubleshooting, or maintaining rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and blowers;
• Preferred experience in major overhauling of multistage centrifugal compressor, steam turbines, and turbo expanders;
• Ability to independently handle activities related to the overhauling of turbo machineries and have attended turnaround shutdowns for turbo machineries;
• Well versed in using all mechanical measuring instruments, coupling types, and alignment of rotating equipment’s using reverse indicator and laser devices;
• Skilled in reading equipment technical drawings and manuals;
• Ability to prepare a list of spare parts, special tools, and consumable materials required for maintenance activities;
• Basic computer skills to prepare reports in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
