On behalf of an oil and gas operator in Aberdeen, I am looking for a Drilling Superintendent to join the team in Aberdeen (Hybrid working set up possibility) on a 12 month renewable contract for a campaign to abandon 5 wells.

Requirements:

• Considerable experience in a lead position of drilling operations using both jack-up and semi-submersible rigs
• Solid understanding of HSE policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and requirements in relation to well operations
• Experience in leading Wells teams in planning and operational phase
• Offshore experience as Drilling Supervisor
• Engineering experience in subsea drilling design and operations
• Commercial awareness/Understands project financing/cost control principles
• Fully certified by a recognised Well Control Authority e.g. IWCF, WELLCAP
• Offshore medical, survival  and MIST certification
• Degree in an engineering, technology or science discipline
