Your role and responsibilities
As Senior Project Lead Engineer you will plan, coordinate, execute and manage PCS projects with me-dium to high complexity in the Mining industry. You will be responsible for all the technical and execu-tion aspects of multiple disciplines, technical knowledge sharing and applying best practices. Main responsibilities: • Acting as overall design authority for the engineering deliverables and technical solutions to-wards the internal organization, customers and authorities. • Working closely with customers and contractors to shape and deliver solutions, seeking feed-back, and innovating with them to drive and deliver improvements. • Lead the engineering activities required to develop PCS process and electrical application pro-gramming, system architecture and 3rd party connectivity. • Lead project installation, commissioning and site activities clarifying potential issues or provid-ing solutions to correct engineering errors. Provides technical support to the commissioning and start-up teams • Assisting project managers in scope control risk and opportunity assessments and implement-ing improvement and mitigation actions. • Provide technical details, cost calculations and deliverables definition for sales proposals. • Travel to customer facilities and offices to support projects and sales.

Qualifications for the role
- University Degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 8-10 years engineering and commissioning experience.
- Strong written and spoken ccommunications skills Bilingual (French/English).French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
- Mining and Mineral Process would be an asset.
- Knowledge of OS virtualization based on VMware, MS; OPC, OPC/UA, ODBC.
- LAN/WAN industrial networks and IT solutions.
- In depth knowledge of process automation DCS Systems as ABB 800xA or comparable.
