We have a current opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer (Package and/or static) on a contract basis outside of IR35. The position will be based in London with WFH.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Package/Static)

Job Description: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Package or Static equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and specifications. Your responsibilities will include interpreting technical information, collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants, and contributing to the successful execution of an Oil & Gas FEED project. Here are the key duties and qualifications:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and issue specifications for individual components and finished goods.
• Coordinate development of specifications with suppliers to ensure functionality, aesthetics, and transportation.
• Prepare technical specifications for mechanical equipment and data sheets for enquiry.
• Review technical drawings and vendor documentation.
• Review and evaluate vendor proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Chartered Engineer.
• 10+ years of oil & gas processing experience is essential.
• Good working knowledge of packaged equipment and static equipment (pressure vessels and storage tanks).
• Experience in Algerian projects is a plus.
