Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Power System Engineer you will join our Alten team in Rugby to support our activities within the Energy sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Design and analysis of large scale power distribution systems
• Perform analysis, calculations and equipment selection on Voltage, Power distribution, equipment sizing
• Plan system design, verification, installations and commissioning of equipment
• Using Electrical Design Software and Tools to produce schematics for the designed systems

• Experienced power system Engineer with an Electrical Engineering Background
• Driven and Motivated Engineer with the ability to grow and lead a team
• An Engineer who is an expert in understanding, designing and configuring complex power systems.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Bachelors' Degree in power systems or electrical engineering
• 3 years of experience+ as an Engineer involved with power system design.
• Proficiency using Tools such as ;DIgSILENT, PSCAD, eTAP or MATLAB, within the power distribution industries
• An effective and thorough communicator with leadership qualities
