AirFrame Engineering is responsible for the overall structural design, electrical and mechanical design and system integration including structural monitoring for military aircraft programs along their product life cycle. Using commercial and proprietary advanced CAE tools, we design, analyze, certify and test the airframe and systems integration.

Your entry level options in Airframe Engineering Centre of Competence range from:

• Structural Analysis, and Fatique & Damage Tolerange
• Cabin and Cargo Design and Integration (only in Bremen and Getafe)
• Electrical System Integration
• Mechanical System Integration
• Structural Design

You bring the following skills & qualifications?

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar
• First engineering experience, with experience in one of our disciplines. Depending on the discipline practical experience with CAE tools and methods is favorable (CATIA, PLM/PDM, CAPITAL, Hyperworks, Experience with numerical simulation and finite element method)
• Very good analytical capabilities and willing to take over end to end responsibility of your design solutions
• Responsibility for results in terms of performance, quality, costs and schedules, including reporting to stakeholders
• Integrity and confidence to speak up, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable with working in empowered teams with a strong focus on delivery
• Confidence to contribute your creativity and skills to teams of dedicated specialists
• Sense of responsibility to create reliable and airworthy air power solutions
• Fluent English

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
