Our client is leading international investor in polish renewable sector, due to the growth of the company we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and a proven track record of leading a team through the design and optimization of large-scale PV and wind projects.
The Engineering Manager will report directly to the COO and will be responsible for resource allocation and technical support to various departments, including but not limited to M&A technical due diligence, early-phase project design, procurement, and technical standards. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage the Engineering team (Technical competence center composed of discipline specialists) and ensure that long term expansion plan of the department is covered as well as project team individual goals and development plans are taken care of 

• Work with cross-functional teams, delivering technical support and resources for General Designers for  project development, construction   

• Mentor and develop the Engineering team members to maintain a high level of performance Provide technical support to the Operations (OPS) team on site and remotely for technical investigations and problem-solving during Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities. 

• Coordination with external advisors for various scopes if necessary to use 3rd parties services  

• Support procurement activities by defining and reviewing technical scopes for material and sub-contractors evaluation and selection requested by General Designer 

• Deliver cost estimates and overall project planning including resource requirements, timelines, and budget allocation.

• Conduct technical reviews of project designs, identify key risks, assess mitigation plans 

• Provide technical support for M&A technical due diligence via technical analysis, reviewing third-party reports, and assessing risks 

• Understand and oversee project requirements, specifications, and standards across multi technologies (PV, wind and BES)  

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering 

• Experience in design and optimization of large scale projects 

• Experience in managing and leading technical teams for at least 5 years 

• Proven track record in participating on complex projects from initial design to operation 

• Understanding of procurement and technical standards 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders 

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment 

• Working level English skills, both written and verbal 

• Experience in RES sector will be an upside
