JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Analytical thinking - Ability to identify issues, obtains relevant information, relate and compare data from different sources and identify alternative solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in preparation of C&I deliverables which include C&I specifications, calculations, philosphies procedures, and datasheets for assigned projects
  • Assist in Preparation of C&I equipment material purchase requisition including contract requisitions such as DCS, ESD and Installation contracts and conduct technical bid evaluations.
  • Assist in giving input and reviewing of design drawings such as loop drawings, termination drawings, hookups, location drawing, C&I panel layouts, system architecture drawings include interface and wiring philosophies.
  • Prepares simple plans and designs, calculations, bills of materials in accordance with established specifications
  • Participate in all project safety and design reviews such as Hazop and SIL reviews.
  • Assist in manage suppliers including reviewing of supplier documentation and attending C&I equipment inspections and factory acceptance testing.
  • Assist in in integrating C&I requirements with other disciplines.
  • Assist in supporting site team during construction and site accept testing of control systems
  • Assist with commissioning and handover.
  • Prepares reports on their assignments and makes recommendations on the solution of technical problemes within the scope off assignment


QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
  • BSc, BEng (Electronics,Electrical/Mechanotronics)
  • 0-2 years experience

Knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Graduate level understanding of engineering practices, design methods and calculations.
  • Demonstrates the application of theory in practical context.
  • Enthusiastic and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Must work towards registering as an ECSA professionally registered engineer (Pr Eng).
