Your role and responsibilities
Working with electrical engineering: it gives you energy. And that is why the commissioning engineer job at ABB is the job you are looking for. In this job, you apply your knowledge at the most special locations in the Netherlands and abroad. This means: not working within four walls, but on the road to your client every day in your own ABB car. The beauty of your work? That you are the expert. When installations are delivered, you decide whether something can be taken into use. That makes you an important link. For ABB and our customers. What will you do at ABB? From low voltage to medium voltage: as a commissioning engineer at ABB, you are the specialist in the field. As a specialist, your responsibilities include commissioning low- and medium-voltage installations with all associated components such as protection relays as well as automation and control systems. Your team You work in a team of some 60 colleagues including 30 service engineers. Within your team, you will have many colleagues with the same level of knowledge as you. There are also experienced colleagues who would like to give you more knowledge. So that you become our expert. Before you start, you will be properly trained. And even after your training period, colleagues are always there for you. They also expect you to be there for them. Together, you switch quickly. This way, you ensure a well-functioning team and satisfied customers. Your work for this department will be to: - preparing, checking and carrying out testing and commissioning of medium and low voltage installations and associated distribution protection, automation and control systems. - maintaining test protocols and test data. - Reporting on work performed. - participating in the fault-clearing service.

Qualifications for the role
- You are someone who prefers to work with electrical or power engineering every day. At ABB, you will be fully trained in your position. What do we expect from you? That you like helping people further. You realise that people will soon see you as a specialist. Whatever the assignment:
- you tackle the job with both hands and find a solution for everything. You work well independently and at the same time can switch well with others if you are at a loss for words. As a commissioning engineer, you also have a:
- Bachelor's level in the field of electrical engineering.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
- Driving licence B.
