Wood in Staines are seeking Senior Package Engineer for an offshore windfarm on a Staff basis.

Wood in Staines are seeking Senior Package Engineer for an offshore windfarm on a Staff basis

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mechanical Engineers are a key part of our project teams and are typically responsible for the following:

• Preparation of data sheets for vendor packages (including process packages, vessels, rotating machinery, heat exchangers)
• Development of the mechanical requirements of the project phases, including conceptual, preliminary, final and operational support
• Preparation of enquiry requisitions for Long Lead Items
• Review and evaluation of equipment suppliers' bids for Long Lead Items and preparation of bid evaluation reports
• Preparation of budget enquiries to support estimate
• Provision of support and advice on Package equipment matters

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience, working with vendor packages on FEED for the Oil & Gas and Energy industries

Mechanical Engineering Degree

Flexible attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with relevant API and ASME codes and standards

Computer literate within Microsoft Office
