Working Hours: 37 hours per week (NO CALL OUTS)
Salary: £39,513 - £42,708 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
Location: Eastcroft Depot, Nottingham, NG2 3AH

About the Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will conduct high-quality mechanical and gas checks, inspections, and testing across the council's portfolio of buildings. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks. •
  • Ensuring all operations adhere to our Health & Safety policies.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated mechanical team to tackle challenges.
  • Maintaining excellent customer service and effective communication with colleagues and clients.

What We're Looking For

We seek individuals who are:
  • Qualified: Hold current commercial gas qualifications (CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICPN1, MET4, TPCP1, TPCP1A) and an NVQ Level 2 in plumbing or equivalent.
  • Experienced: Knowledgeable in commercial gas appliances, pipework, and regulations.
  • Organised: Capable of managing work schedules and leading a remote team.
  • Communicative: Excellent relationship builders with strong report-writing skills.
  • Driven: Passionate about making a positive impact in Nottingham.
