As the Project Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Technical & Commercial Project Proposals to our customers in Europe for the Power and Renewables industry within the automation projects business portfolio and support Emerson sales teams in pursuing new business opportunities.

This role requires the proposal delivery management of a wide variety of projects ranging from small-size to large and/or complex ones, assuming ownership of the full-scope, or sub-scope, when working under the leadership of Proposal Lead / Manager, including sales & operations partners' coordination and direct customer contact, with the focus on winning more orders for the company. As a key point of contact, you will build and maintain strong relationships with Sales Account Managers and Operations teams across Europe. We look forward to seeing your application!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To ensure understanding, managing, and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or the company's partners through remote communication or site visits;
• To take full ownership of the delivery of the assigned technical and commercial project proposals scope, or sub-scope of large size and/or complex project proposals led by the Proposal Manager or Lead, within automation projects business portfolio, following the standard process; for independent delivery of project proposals, act as Solution Architect applying technical expertise for the concept design development of Emerson solution, fulfilling customers' requirements; ensure the innovative and efficient solutions are proposed; proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the proposal preparation effort, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality; ensure customers are proactively informed on the status or any challenges;
• To acquire, maintain, and actively share knowledge and experience with the team and the more comprehensive organization; supporting on-the-job development of other Project Proposal Engineers;
• To take on other responsibilities or tasks, including those related to Ethics and Information Security policies within the skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. The business reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments in line with business requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in the Engineering field;
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and excellent communication skills;
• Understanding of process automation, DCS (Distributed Control System) and/or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, computer infrastructure and network architecture;
• Computer literate (MS Office).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of a third European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish);
• Experience in commercial and sales support activities;
• Experience in process automation field for various industries;
• Project management/coordination skills.
