Service Team Leader
Your role and responsibilities
Join our team specializing in the seamless operation of systems and devices. Our services encompass maintenance and repair work, along with consultation on follow-up measures, relying on the extensive knowledge and experience of our dedicated team members. Become a part of this dynamic team where your contribution is crucial. You will primarily operate nationwide but will predominantly serve our customers in the northern Germany area. Your telework location should ideally be in the central northern German region. Our service technicians will need to travel and stay overnight within this extensive geographic area to support our customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations. You will receive personal protective equipment and communication tools such as a laptop and mobile phone. Additionally, you will undergo comprehensive and customized training at our Friedberg location, with the possibility of being provided with a company car. The work model for the role is: remote / onsite (customers) This role is contributing to the Robotics and Discrete Automation Business Area in Germany. You will be mainly accountable for: • Identify errors and malfunctions in systems • Localize sources of errors • Devise solutions to rectify faults and damage • Create damage reports and analyze weak points • Determine technical condition of plants and systems • Advise customers on maintenance • Execute service orders, validate processing programs, and document outcomes • Secure customer and system data and prepare operational reports

Qualifications for the role
- Successfully completed electrotechnical vocational training
- Structured and organized way of working
- Independent practitioner
- Commitment in dealing with customers
- Fluent in German with a strong command of English, both written and spoken
- High willingness to travel
- Knowledge of robots is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Basic knowledge in MS Office
- Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is advantageous
