EngineeringNES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for a Structural Engineer to work on their project based in Paris.
The position will operate on a contract basis for an initial 6 month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop. The schedule will be Mon – Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.

DESCRIPTION :
The activity of this service will focus on:
Structural engineer with 5 years of experience in offshore structure.
COMPETENCES REQUIRED :
To carry out this service, the Contractor must bring the skills described below: SACS / ABAQUS / WINDFARM

DESCRIPTION :
The activity of this service will focus on:
Structural engineer with 5 years of experience in offshore structure.
- Application on previous project of the standars for structure of a least two of the following: -DNV-RP-C203, DNV-OS-C101&201 - API-RP-2A WSD/LRFD & AISC 9th Edition - Eurocode 3.
- Any experience specific to Wind Farm project (fixe or floating) would be very appreciated, such as DNV-ST-0437/0126/0119 or equivalent.
- Any experience of panel structural checks with DNV-RP-C202 or equivalent would be appreciated too.
- Use on previous project of beam software SACS.
- Une on previous project of ABAQUS ( MANDATORY).
- On previous project, experience of hand calculations would be appreciated.
- Antonomy in the pratice of design and calculation. proposal of solutions to the lead on project.
- On previous projects, reviews of drawings, work in cooperation with draftsman, commitment on data provided to draftmen in advances phase
- English (write & oral) is mandatory / French speaker ideally.
