EngineeringWe have an opportunity for a Fire AlarmEngineer to join us at Honeywell, in the North West, where you will beresponsible for routine maintenance and fault finding on customer sites, identifyingand actioning any additional maintenance and small works sales opportunities,and commission small projects and new systems with the wider team. This is a field-based role covering our clients acrossthe North West area to include Greater Manchester, Crewe, the Lake District andoccasionally North Wales.

Key responsibilities
- Attending customer sites to install or repair fire detection and response systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire detection and response systems, both remotely and on-site
- Provide technical expertise and support for fire protection solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
- Be a mentor for junior engineers training them in system usage including producing documentation and quotations
Key skills and qualifications
- Previous experience of commissioning and servicing of fire systems preferably GENT systems
- Hold F.I.A units 1 and 2 and 3 BS5839 with working knowledge of Unit 4 design
- Ability to identify and satisfy customer needs and commercial opportunities
- Good communication skills coupled with customer service skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
